Zultys’ MX Release 9.0 introduces MXvirtual, a VMware® Ready Virtual Appliance

Zultys’ MXvirtual cloud-based solution is now available to customers alongside the premise-based MX250 and MX30 IP phone systems. With Release 9.0, customers looking to move their company infrastructure to the cloud need not look any further. MXvirtual brings Zultys’ all-in-one phone system and Unified Communication architecture to the cloud delivering an enterprise grade Contact Center solution, mobile integration, instant messaging & presence, HD video, advanced call routing, fax server, interactive voice response and much more. Customers may seamlessly combine cloud and premise-based systems for complete flexibility. Zultys is a VMware® Technology Alliance Partner; Zultys MXvirtual has received VMware® Ready approval and supports VMware HA (high-availability) and vMotion for peace of mind in mission critical deployments.

Key enhancements in MX Release 9.0

  • Centralized management of MXIE preferences and screen layout
  • Centralized management of Call Handling Rules and pre-defined 'Find Me' contact points
  • New Presence indications in MXIE for Ringing and On Hold
  • Ability to combine Operator Roles and Agent Roles in MXIE to provide a more compact view
  • Plantronics wireless headset integration with Windows MXIE softphone to provide Answer/Disconnect control from headset
  • G.729a compressed codec support added to the Apple Mac version of MXIE softphone
  • MXnetwork Redundancy enhancements including full Instant Messaging and Presence functionality during failover plus enhanced monitoring and management functions.
  • MXoutbound: Ability to automatically import contact records via FTP
  • MSEC 2.0: New Microsoft Exchange Communicator application that integrates via Exchange Web Services (EWS). Supports Exchange 2010 and later including Exchange Online


Flexible Deployment Options

Pricing and Availability

MX Release 9.0.4 is available to download immediately. Existing customers with a current software subscription are eligible for free access to the upgrade and should contact their Zultys Authorized Channel Partner for further information.

Special Note: Customers that upgraded their MX30 and/or MX250 systems to Release 9.0.3 are advised to upgrade to Release 9.0.4 at their earliest convenience.
